Demonstrating Individual Values Amongst Sisters (D.I.V.A.S.) Mentoring Program, Inc. is a not for profit organization established in 2009 to aid in the positive development of youth in the community. By way of partnerships with local school systems, colleges, and universities, we provide group and one-on-one mentoring to help young ladies cope with the unique issues they face on a daily basis. Additionally, through our signature community projects, we demonstrate the art of paying it forward and remaining a true servant and leader. 

 

Both our collegiate and community mentors stand united in our common passion to foster a sisterhood in which they will create and maintain personal goals and values, build a strong academic foundation and become further enlightened on the realities of life. DIVAS strives to reduce the risk of or eliminate potential involvement in abusive relationships, teen pregnancy, and poverty. All mentoring services are provided for a nominal fee and are supported by the fundraising efforts of the DIVAS Executive Board and members-at-large.

• To help young ladies locate their gifts, advocate for their purpose, and pay it forward to the community through various programming and community initiatives centered around mentorship.
